Terms and Conditions

Please read the following terms and conditions carefully before engaging our pet sitting services. These terms and conditions govern the agreement between the pet sitter ("we," "us," or "our") and the pet owner ("you" or "your") in the United Kingdom.

1. Agreement Scope: 1.1. These terms and conditions apply to all pet sitting services provided by us in your home. 1.2. By booking our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions.

2. Pet Information: 2.1. You agree to provide accurate and detailed information about your pet(s), including their medical history, dietary requirements, behavioural concerns, and emergency contact information. 2.2. You are responsible for providing all necessary supplies for your pet's care, including food, medications, bedding, toys, and any other specific requirements. 2.3. Any changes to your pet (s) medical history, dietary requirements, behavioural concerns, and emergency contact information must be notified in writing. We reserve the right to cancel any booking if we feel the match is no longer appropriate. 

3. Pet Care: 3.1. We will provide care and attention to your pet(s) as agreed upon during the booking process. 3.2. We will make reasonable efforts to maintain your pet's regular routine, including feeding, exercise, and medication schedules, as specified by you. 3.3. We reserve the right to use our professional judgement in the best interest of your pet(s) regarding their care, health, and safety. 3.4. In the event of a medical emergency, we will make every effort to contact you or your designated emergency contact. However, if we are unable to reach you, we reserve the right to seek veterinary care for your pet(s) and you agree to be responsible for any related expenses. 

4. House Access and Security: 4.1. You will provide us with keys or access codes to your home and any necessary instructions to enter and secure the property. 4.2. We will use reasonable care when accessing and securing your home but cannot be held liable for any damages or losses unrelated to our negligence. 4.3. You will inform us of any home security systems, alarms, or surveillance cameras that may affect our ability to perform our services.

5. Payment and Cancellation: 5.1. Payment for pet sitting services is due as agreed upon during the booking process. 5.2. We reserve the right to require a deposit or advance payment to secure your booking. 5.3. In the event of a cancellation, you agree to notify us in writing at the earliest possible time. 5.4. Cancellation fees may apply. In the event that a sit has to be cancelled by us the pet sitter we will return any payments made and make every effort to support you in finding another pet sitter. 

6. Liability and Insurance: 6.1. While we will take reasonable care of your pet(s) and your home, we cannot be held liable for any injury, loss, or damage that occurs during the provision of our services, unless caused by our proven negligence. 6.2. You acknowledge that you have adequate insurance coverage for your pet(s) and your property. 6.3. You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, liabilities, costs, or expenses arising from your pet(s) or your property. 6.4 We hold specialist insurance through Protectivity and reserve the right to seek advice from our insurers should the need arise.
